When you setup a new user account in SmarterWX Locate you may be asked to link to your BYDA account. This step lets BYDA know that you want to have enquiries and responses managed by SmarterWX Locate on your behalf. You can unlink at any time to stop your BYDA enquiries being sent to SmarterWX Locate.
To unlink your BYDA account follow these steps: –
- Click on the user icon in the top-right hand corner to open the user menu.
- Select “Settings”.
- Select the “Profile” tab.
- Locate the “BYDA account details” section.
- Click on the “Unlink account” button.

After you have unlinked your account any enquiries lodged in BYDA will be handled using the standard BYDA workflow and you can view all response content in the BYDA service.
